About the artist Sergio Collins..

Born in Ensanada Baja Mexico, he is the
oldest of eight and it fell on his shoulders to help at an early age to
care for his younger siblings. This patience and care is reflected in
his work. The attention to detail in each piece shows his love and
respect of nature and all creatures that walk or fly in this world we
share.
For 32 years he has worked out doors.
He loves the warmth of the sun and wind blowing in his face, and he even
enjoys the cold. There is not a day that goes by that he does not see
and eagle soaring high, the geese circling the rice fields or a coyote
in the field.
His respect of all animals and the
birds, inspire his carvings. This is what he wants others to see and
feel.
The wildlife carvings on this site were
carved using moose antlers, deer horn, soap stone, alabaster and hard
woods.
